千兩茶為安化黑茶的一種，重量為千兩重，故得名為千兩茶，竹簍包成花格狀，又名花捲茶。

安化黑茶的茶種主要為喬木大葉種，而工序中有一個工藝叫做「發花」，當中「發花」是安化黑茶最具特色的一項製作過程，目的是讓茶葉表面生長出「金花」。

所謂的「金花」其實是一種名為冠突散囊菌的菌種，在特定溫度、濕度條件下，通過發花工藝長成的自然菌體。
 
Qian Liang Cha is a kind of Anhua black tea. It weighs 1000 liang(Liang is a traditional Chinese unit for mass), so it is named Qianliang tea. It is wrapped in a bamboo basket and is also called flower roll tea.
 
The "golden flowers" is a kind of probiotics with varied maintaining health functions which grows in its "fermentation" process in particular wet and temperature conditions through the procedure of "mouldy spot appearing ".Its yellow cleistothecium structure of the microorganism, so called "golden flowers".
