製作方式為將果肉挖出後,與茶葉、紫蘇、甘草等材料混合,再塞回挖空果殼內,經過多次反覆的蒸、壓製、烘烤及日曬,約經歷半年製作完成酸柑茶。
喝法是將如石頭般堅硬的酸柑敲碎後,置入茶壺以熱開水沖泡,其口感酸中帶甜,不僅溫潤爽口,茶香與柑香融合的微酸口感令人回味再三。
They use Hutou Gan(a kind of Taiwanese orange) and remove the sour fruits and put tea leaves, perilla, and licorice in the emptied rinds. After about half a year of steaming, processing, roasting and sunning, Bitter Orange Tea is finally completed.
The tea can be had after bitter oranges are put in a teapot full of hot water. It has a bittersweet taste originating from both tea leaves and bitter oranges.
